The American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) inducted the 2017 AADOM Fellows during the 13th Annual Dental Management Conference, held Sept. 7-9, 2017, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The 2017 fellowship class includes 49 AADOM members. This achievement demonstrates their commitment to excellence in the profession.

To earn fellowship, AADOM members must meet several requirements. This includes completing three dental office management courses through the DALE Foundation. After candidates fulfill the fellowship requirements, they participate in the induction ceremony, wearing caps and gowns to accept their fellowships — a highlight of the conference.

DANB and DALE Foundation Executive Director Cynthia C. Durley, M.Ed., MBA, participated in the fellowship ceremony. She announced the fellows’ names as they crossed the stage in their caps and gowns, while friends, family and AADOM members cheered them on.

“It’s a privilege to participate in such a meaningful ceremony and see the pride and excitement on everyone’s face,” Durley says.

“As always, we are so proud of this year’s fellows,” says Heather Colicchio, Founder and President of AADOM. “They have shown a commitment to their practices and their profession. They’ve worked very hard for this designation and it shows.”

“Fellowship … was such a great investment of my time.”
— Ronna Post, FAADOM

“It was such a great experience, start to finish,” says Ronna Post, FAADOM, of her fellowship journey. “Fellowship takes [your career] to another level and allows you to continue your education and earn a credential. It was such a great investment of my time.”
